Covered Support Items

 

All You Squared equipment (including antenna, power supply, ground block, and the connectivity between the antenna on your roof and the tower).

Email support using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express and for Mac users: Mac Mail or Entourage.

Weather related issues which cause an interruption to your service

Routers purchased through You Squared that are under warranty.

 

Non Covered Support Items

 

Connectivity issues due to trees in the way of your connection

Problems with your computer or home network (with the exception to routers that are still under warranty).

Any software/firewalls that have been installed which cause an interruption with your service

Any viruses, spyware, adware that cause an interruption with your service

 

How our tech support works

 

If you call in because you can't get online:

 

We first check your connection from your antenna to the tower to be sure all of our equipment is working properly. If we find a problem with our equipment, we schedule a service call to your home or business, which is free of charge.

 

If we do not see a problem with our equipment, or your connection from your antenna to the tower, we will do some simple troubleshooting with you over the phone. If we cannot find the problem after 15 minutes, we can continue to troubleshoot with you, at a fee of $100 per hour. You also have the option at that point to schedule a service call with us, to your home or business. Once we arrive, we can usually determine fairly quickly where the problem resides. If the problem is with any of our equipment, that service call is covered 100%. If the problem is with your home network, your computer, your network card, any software on your computer, viruses, spyware/adware, that service call is billable at $100 per hour, plus parts and trip charge based on location.
